GKB Announces Its Transformation into System Integrator Provider
GKB has also announced its new company name, new logo, and new website.
Taichung, Taiwan | April 28, 2009 — GKB officially has announced that it is changing its company name from “GKB CCTV CO, LTD” to “GKB Security Corporation”, as well as adopting a new LOGO, new slogan and new website from this April. GKB initiated a corporation-wide transformation in 2008 that shifted its focus from hardware manufacturer to security solution provider, and we are now actively displaying our new identity in the market.
Transformation into a System Integrator Provider
Understanding that the industry is moving towards system integration and network-based security solutions, GKB has made a commitment to preparing for the future. As of 2008, GKB’s R&D efforts have been expanded from products to security system solutions, and GKB now not only offers hardware but also complete security solutions. Focussing on the needs of small and medium-sized system integrators, GKB has released a number of solutions, such as its professional network surveillance system, POS surveillance system, video alarm system, and VFDS (video fire detection system). GKB has long believed in customer-oriented cooperation and advanced product development. GKB now works more closely with system integrators and installers, and offers security solutions with customized service according to the installation or project requirements.
New Company Name, New Logo
GKB’s new logo demonstrates its commitment to transformation, as well a firm promise to its customers. In April 2009, GKB changed its logo from blue to the current grey wording with green symbol. The design of the new logo comes from the idea of user- friendliness and innovation. The green symbol in the top right corner comes from the image of a kite. Like a kite in the sky, GKB watches over safety from above.
Making the World Safer, by Making Security Easier
At GKB, the new slogan is ‘Making Security Easier’. Since ‘9-11’, the way the world views security and safety has changed drastically. Today, GKB is helping develop the products and solutions that contribute to a safer world. GKB is doing so through the research and development of intuitive and easy-to-use security solutions that make the installation, maintenance and application of security ever easier. As the new slogan demonstrates, GKB’s mission is to make the world safer, by making security easier.
