Situation:In an environment involving high temperatures which was only partially enclosed, traditional detectors proved ineffective. VFDS™ was programmed to ignore visible flame or smoke occuring within the mills - part of their normal operation - while detecting any that escaped.

Situation:A potentially dangerous place due to the presence of combustible and radioactive substances in the utility room. In a hospital with many disabled patients and a great deal of expensive equipment, immediate verification of fire alarms is especially crucial.
